WHERE YOU’LL BE STAYING
Klis is a small village located at the foot of the medieval fortress of the same name and is only 5 kilometers away from Split, the largest Dalmatian city. Due to its prominent position, Klis Fortress has long been a difficult fortress to conquer. The municipality of Klis has about 5,200 inhabitants and even today it is a link between Zagora and the sea, since the roads to the interior of Croatia pass through Klis.
THINGS TO DO NEARBY
Since the Klis Fortress is located in the immediate vicinity, known for the popular series "Game of Thrones", it is mandatory to visit and explore the fortress as well as enjoy the amazing view. Not far from the fortress there is a beautiful cave Vranjača which abounds in beautiful decorations and underground halls. A tour of the city of Split is a must, but we recommend a visit to nearby smaller cities such as Kaštela, Trogir, Primošten or Šibenik. If you want to do sports activities, rafting, canyoning and zip line are located near the town of Omiš.
