Tri žala is a wonderful bay situated on the northern side of the island, 5 kilometers away from the town of Korčula, overlooking the peninsula Pelješac and the lovely village Viganj. This bay is perfect for all those seeking a little peace and quiet, yet close to the island’s capital where you can meet the wonderful Mediterranean spirit.

Korčula is one of our favorite Croatian islands. Apart from its amazing cultural heritage and natural sites, we love the summer concerts and events evoking traditional medieval plays. Gastronomy is yet another thing. The island’s cuisine is based on seafood, but its definite plus are the wines from the island, known as some of the best in the Mediterranean. And if you happen to be a surfer, fear not, because it is precisely the channel between the Tri Žala bay and Pelješac excellent surfing point due to the winds and sea currents in that area.
