Starigrad is a lovely little seaside settlement located in the region of Zadar, but much more important, it is the entrance to the magnificent National Park Paklenica on Velebit mountain, the home of all the adventure and hiking lovers that visit the area. The people of Starigrad used to work a lot in the fishing industry but are mostly dedicated to tourism nowadays.

The wonderful mountain Velebit and Paklenica are an area you can explore and enjoy for days, and if you do wish to take a break, there is the perfectly clean Adriatic Sea, just waiting for you to jump right in. Otherwise, you have the city Zadar only 45 minutes by car away, Zadar is the capital of northern Dalmatia, an amazing Mediterranean town that you will fall in love with.
