WHERE YOU’LL BE STAYING
Veprinac is a picturesque small place of rich heritage located on the slopes of the Učka mountain. Being located at an altitude of 519 meters, it offers a spectacular view of the entire Kvarner. Veprinac was once a significant center before Opatija became a tourist destination. It was built on the foundations of prehistoric remains of a hillfort and was named after a local plant that grows in abundance in the area. Since the climate is sub-Mediterranean, this area has a higher number of cloudy days and rainfall compared to the southern parts.

The surrounding area has a very rich tourist offer and there will be something interesting or activity for everyone's taste. Numerous sports activities are available such as hiking, cycling or various water sports, for adults but also for children. As the closest attraction, we recommend a tour of Opatija and a walk along the sea along the popular 10 kilometres long Lungomare promenade. From Opatija to the historic villages of the Učka mountain is only half an hour's drive away and each place attracts visitors with its distinctive character.
