The beautiful villa Castel is situated in Bale, a wonderful little town in Istria. Villa Castel is a heritage town house located in the historical center of Bale. The three-story stone house seems modest from the outside, but once you step inside, you will be amazed just as we were when we first saw it. The villa is decorated in heritage style with just the right proportion of modern design elements. The hardwood floors are enriched with beautiful rugs and unique furniture. The wood furnaces give a special touch to the entire interior, but also keep you warm even during the coldest winter days. The three bedrooms are full of light and extremely comfortable, so you will enjoy the intimacy of your personal space even if traveling with friends. The kitchen is the quite opposite of the rest of the house, modern in design and equipped with only the best appliances. We especially love the contrast between the stone walls and the glass staircase.

Bale is a charming medieval town located 20 kilometers from Rovinj, one of the most popular destinations in Croatia. It is known as the town of the artists, and the old Mediterranean spirit is still very much present in its stone streets and alleys. With a population of 1500 inhabitants, it is the perfect place to try a different type of vacation or to experience life in an inspiring ambience.

Firstly, stay in the town for a while. Explore its history and tradition, try some local wine and cuisine and get to know the people around you. Then, you can get out and explore Istria. You can start discovering the surroundings on bicycles, take a walk through the vineyards or head to the coast by car. Bale is only 6 kilometers away from the sea, and precisely this part of the coast is considered one of the most beautiful ones. The beach Mon Perin or San Polo are everything you may need for a complete Istrian escape.
