Sutivan, a village with 822 inhabitants on the northwest coast of Brač, is one of the smallest municipalities in Croatia. Nestled between sea and mountains, it is one of the most popular travel destinations on the Croatian islands. It is known for its beaches surrounded by beautiful forests, vineyards, olive groves and tangerine fields, which can be easily reached on foot.
THINGS TO DO NEARBY
When it comes to beaches, we definitely have to mention Zlatni Rat Beach, probably the most impressive beach on our coast. It is only 40 km from Sutivan and its horn-like shape often changes appearance due to storms or strong winds blowing across the Adriatic. In the background you can admire the impressive mountain Vidova Gora. Its highest peak is 778 meters above sea level, making Brač the highest island in the Republic of Croatia. All hiking enthusiasts will get their money's worth here, and everyone else will be impressed by the magnificent view from the summit.
