WHERE YOU’LL BE STAYING
You will be staying in Župa, a small village embraced by the stunning Biokovo mountain. Nature Park Biokovo is in the close vicinity of the house, while beaches of Makarska riviera are just a 20 minutes’ drive.
THINGS TO DO NEARBY
Župa is a small village with rather interesting heritage. Have you ever heard of Biokovo fairies? They are the friendly ghosts of Biokovo mythology, maidens in white, dancing in the moonlight and seducing young lads. The locals say that fairies take and eat the food someone hides from the others, which is why the people of Župa are not cheap. Should you wish to hear more, take a stroll through the village and get to know the locals, they will be happy to share. Biokovo skywalk will be a unique experience – it is a 1228 m high skywalk, located on the edge of a cliff, with a spectacular view. Red and Blue Lakes represent a natural phenomenon, known as Loch Ness in the Croatian way, has so much to offer. We do not want to spoil it and therefore will not say too much, just that this should definitely be on your ‘to-do’ and ‘to-see’ list.
