Župa Biokovska is a village hidden beneath the beautiful giant; mountain Biokovo. The inland may seem harsh for its inhabitants, but it is exactly this type of relief that enables cultivation of superb sorts of grape and olives, making the vine and the olive oil one of the highlights of the region.

A wonderful day trip to the nature park Biokovo is always a good idea. You will get the chance to observe untouched nature, get to know many endemic species and unwind before heading to the coast. Considering the peaceful ambient of your villa, we definitely recommend a day trip to Makarska or maybe even Split, the capital of Dalmatia and a one-hour drive away. Split is a city filled with history and art, and the streets of the Diocletian’s palace are thus protected as the UNESCO World Heritage. Apart from that, its citizens will charm you with their hospitality and an excellent sense of humor. We can tell you one thing for sure; this is a trip you will never forget.
