Župa Biokovska is a little secluded village situated on the northern side of the magnificent mountain Biokovo. Its population of 53 cultivate vineyards, olive gardens and the rest of the Mediterranean cultures that make the local cuisine superb.
THINGS TO DO NEARBY
The mountain Biokovo, according to many, is the most beautiful mountain in Croatia. It stretches along the coast of southern Dalmatia and is a home of the natural park “Biokovo”. The recently built skywalk on the mountain’s southern side offers truly magnificent views on Makarska Riviera and the islands. So, our next advice goes right in that direction: head to the coast, a one-hour drive away, and enjoy the famous turquoise Adriatic, go on an island-hopping adventure and take a walk through the stone streets of delightful Dalmatian islands.
