Barattone is an amazing, luxurious complex made of two exquisite villas; Casa Baratto and Casa Barattina. If you are traveling with all your family, or want to enjoy the vacation with your friends, we definitely recommend this estate with the stunning sea view for maximum pleasure. Both houses were built in the most elegant style using the lovely stone construction to emphasize Istrian traditional construction. The villas occupy a total of 1491 sqm and are situated on the 2930 sqm estate that offers a spa area, two outdoor pools, a fully equipped gym and a lot more. When it comes to the architecture of the houses, we adore the contrast between the stone walls and the big glass surfaces, thus combining the best from the traditional and the contemporary world. The interior design is, literally, to die for. A combination of antique wooden furniture with oriental rugs and the newest technologies and appliances is more than we can for. The dedication that the designers gave to the elegance, luxury and comfort while decorating both villas amaze us, and we are sure even the most demanding guests will get all they want, and more.

Cancellation terms
If for any reason you change your mind within 48 hours after the booking confirmation, you’ll get a 100% refund, no questions asked. If you cancel the reservation 59 days before the day of using the service, you will be charged 100% of the total price of the reservation.
Deposit and balance termsThe 30% deposit is paid upon booking confirmation, the remaining 70% must be paid 60 days before arrival.
Security DepositThe refundable 2000 EUR security deposit must be paid at latest 60 days prior to the beginning of the rental period. If the security deposit is not paid, the reservation will be cancelled without a refund. If no property damage occurs during the client’s stay, a release of the security deposit amount will be initiated 7 days after the client’s checkout. If you have booked the villa less than 60 days before the arrival, the deposit must be paid right away. Once you have confirmed your stay, you will receive further instructions on how to pay the security deposit.

WHERE YOU’LL BE STAYING
Barat is a charming little settlement situated in the inland of western Istria, 292 meters above sea level. Precisely due to the elevation of the entire village, you will be able to enjoy the splendid view of the surroundings and the Adriatic as well. The permanent population, apart from tourism, works in agriculture. Since the land is not very fertile, the cultures that grow here are olives and vine groves. And we are all thankful for that, because Barat area produces one of the best wines and olive oils in the region.

Barat has a wonderful geographical position in relation to the entire Istria, so you have plenty of options and possibilities. We have to mention the proximity of the coast, and two Istrian gems: the towns of Rovinj and Poreč. Both historical towns are protected by UNESCO World Heritage programs, these coastal towns will enchant you, and wait till you try the local food. Famous for wine and olive oil, Istrian cuisine offers incredible seafood, the most esteemed truffles in the world, and the liquor Terranino is something you have to try while staying here.
