Višnjan is a small town in the western part of Istria located at 244 meters above sea level. Narrow streets, Mediterranean stone houses and historic roads that are still extremely important today, set Višnjan apart from the surrounding towns. The entire area has a mild sub-Mediterranean climate and is ideal for growing vines and olives. Because it is rich in deposits of fertile red soil, the area is known as "red Istria".

Superb! We (9 people/friends) spontaneously decided to stay at this location and our expectations were far exceeded. The house is ideal for a large group of friends, as well as for two families. The house was perfectly clean, the rooms were in a top condition, the kitchen, living room etc. were equipped with everything we needed. Extra bathtowels were provided. The owners were on site via arrival and welcomed us with homemade delicacies from the area. We had nothing to worry about and would definitely come back again. Overall 5*
