Višnjan is a small, beautiful town located in the western part of Istria, built in Mediterranean style with houses made of stone and narrow streets. It is very well connected, and its roads have been extremely important for the economy of this region in history. Višnjan is situated 244 meters above the sea level and has a mild sub-Mediterranean climate. In Croatia and the world, Višnjan is best known for the Višnjan observatory where small bodies of the solar system were discovered.
