Casa Baratto is a wonderful, luxurious poolside villa with sea view situated in Barat. This amazing house is one of the most perfect escape destinations we have seen. The luxurious villa is perfect for a group of 14 people, who are about to spend the vacation of a lifetime. The exterior of this magnificent place is a perfect balance between the traditional architecture and the modern construction techniques. The villa is surrounded by greenery, giving it a specially charming glow. The interior was decorated with the utmost care and attention, so every little detail is precisely as and where it should be. It is difficult to single out our favorite part. The comfort and light in the bedrooms seem heavenly, the antique furniture makes the house seem like a fairytale place, and the spacious living rooms appear to have stolen all the sunlight in the world. The villa shares a separate house where you can find the gym and the wellness center with the lovely Casa Barattina, part of the same estate. When we come to think about it, our favorite place here is absolutely everything!

Cancellation terms
If for any reason you change your mind within 48 hours after the booking confirmation, you’ll get a 100% refund, no questions asked. If you cancel the reservation 59 days before the day of using the service, you will be charged 100% of the total price of the reservation.
Deposit and balance termsThe 30% deposit is paid upon booking confirmation, the remaining 70% must be paid 60 days before arrival.
Security DepositThe refundable 1500 EUR security deposit must be paid at latest 60 days prior to the beginning of the rental period. If the security deposit is not paid, the reservation will be cancelled without a refund. If no property damage occurs during the client’s stay, a release of the security deposit amount will be initiated 7 days after the client’s checkout. If you have booked the villa less than 60 days before the arrival, the deposit must be paid right away. Once you have confirmed your stay, you will receive further instructions on how to pay the security deposit.

WHERE YOU’LL BE STAYING
Barat is a lovely little settlement on the inland of western Istria, rich with olive gardens and vineyards, its hardworking people cultivate and make the finest olive oil and wine in the area. Secluded from civilization, it is perfect for deep relaxation, but still close enough to the coastal towns Rovinj and Poreč, where you can find all the benefits of the modern world.
THINGS TO DO NEARBY
Apart from the well-known coast, we would like to mention the Bay Limski, a few minutes ride from the villa. This magical place has exquisite gastronomy offer and is a lovely half day trip. The central Istria offers a great variety of active sports, and we would like to point out hiking and cave exploration as one of the many hidden gems in Istria.
